Police are investigating a case of murder after two men, who are believed to be in their early 40s, were found dead this morning (February 5).
The bodies were discovered in an open field near Springs Road, Crystal Park, at about 8am.
Crystal Park SAPS spokesperson Const Itumelang Maduna said members of the community who were collecting plastic for recycling spotted the two bodies.
“They immediately alerted the police,” said Maduna.
“Upon arrival on the scene, the two men were found with gunshot wounds to their heads and one of the men had a wound on his back.”

Maduna said it is alleged that two men were making deliveries on February 4 when they were last seen by a brother of one of the deceased.
The vehicle they were driving was reported missing.
A case of murder has been opened at the Crystal Park Police Station.
The motive for the killings is unknown, and no arrests have been made.
