Not a single ball bowled due to rain

Not a single delivery was bowled in the Ram Slam T20 Challenge match between the log-leading Multiply Titans and the Hollywoodbets Dolphins at Sahara Park Willowmoore on November 24.

A decent crowd had turned up for the match, but the weather did not play ball as rain put a dampener on the excitement.

The two captains did manage to carry out the toss at which Titans captain Albie Morkel opted to field first but that was as far as the game got.

Umpires Stephen Harris and Allahudien Paleker eventually called off the match at 7:50pm, almost two hours after the scheduled start.

It was the third match out of five in which the Dolphins have not been able to get onto the field because of to wet weather.

Both teams picked up two points each with The Titans moving on to 21 points on the table, from five matches.

They will return to Benoni on December 1 to play the Warriors at Sahara Park Willowmoore and will hope that the rain stays away this time.

The match is scheduled to start at 6pm with tickets available at ticketpros.co.za or at the gate on the evening.

The Titans were first set to play the bizhub Highveld Lions on November 29 at the Wanderers before their Benoni date with the Warriors on Friday.
