Eddy House thanks its supporters
Supporters and volunteers of Eddy House were invited to the old age home on November 16 for tea and cake as a token of appreciation for all their support throughout the year.
“We are doing this to thank services organisations who help the Methodist home,” said Alan Geddes, manager at Eddy House.
Geddes said this was an opportunity for the volunteers to spend time with the residents that they help on a regular basis.
This includes local churches, schools and organisations.
“It’s our way of giving back to the community that gives back to us,” Geddes added.
“The small things go a long way.”
