Boogie with Miss Benoni

If you have not bought your tickets for the Blame it on the Boogie show at the Barnyard Theatre, there is still time.

The September 30 event, which is hosted by Miss Benoni, Victoria Welthagen, is in aid of the Benoni SPCA.

“All proceeds go to the Benoni SPCA,” the beauty said.

Blame it on the Boogie is a celebration of disco, funk, rock and soul music from the ’70s, with songs such as Love Is In The Air, Can’t Take My Eyes Off You, Hot Stuff, Disco Inferno, Mamma Mia, Kung Fu Fighting, and more.

Tickets cost R200 per person and can be purchased from the organisers, or at the Rynfield Terrace Spar.

Welthagen said for those who do not want to buy a ticket but would still like to donate to the worthy cause – be it in a form of finance or animal food – can contact the organisers for more information.

Contact the organisers on 082 888 0513 or 078 751 5186.

Doors open at 6.30pm.
