Potjie competition raises funds for a good cause
Young and old gathered at the Waterside Country Fair Food and Craft Market.
The market was held at the East Rand Speedboat Club on August 26.
The family day was filled with different handmade crafts, food, boat rides and children’s entertainment.
This market was in support of The Animal Guardians (Tag), Kids Haven and ‘The Kitty Angel’.
A potjie competition, organised by Mary Goby, was also held on the day in support of Paws Rehoming and Dignity for Dogs.
Four teams participated in the competition.
A total of R 2500 was raised for the two organisations.
