BNCC honours those with the leading edge this season

The event afforded the club the opportunity to pay homage to outgoing club chairman Gavin Rademeyer, who served on the committee for the past six years.

Award winners on the night were:

• Legends XI: Batsman of the Year: Jan Grobbelaar. Bowler of the Year: Terry O’Connor. Captain’s Choice Award: Andre Steyn.

• Saturday Third League XI: Batsman of the Year: Gareth Dane. Bowler of the Year: Kyle Winter. Captain’s Choice Award: Matthew Wigston

• Saturday First League XI: Batsman of the Year: Twayne Stewart. Bowler of the Year: Andrew McFarlane. Captain’s Choice Award: Joshua Thomas

• Women’s League XI: Batsman of the Year: Carmen Schmidt. Bowler of the Year: Alicia Smith Harding. Captain’s Choice Award: Caitlin Eaton

• Chairman’s League XI: Batsman of the Year: Jan Grobbelaar. Bowler of the Year: JC Grobbelaar. Captain’s Choice Award: Marius van Wyk

• Promotion League XI: Batsman of the Year: Alexander Rudolph. Bowler of the Year: Matthew Wittstock. Captain’s Choice Award: Zane Dunn

• Premier League XI: Batsman of the Year: Rhenier Jordaan. Batsman of the Year: Ernest Kemm. Bowler of the Year: Lance Humphrey. Captain’s Choice Award: Twayne Stewart
