Local is lekker with BenRock

BenRock is coming to The Beer Co and Runway Bar in Germiston on May 6 with more bands to showcase that local is lekker.

BenRock is the brainchild of two local Benoni bands that was conceived in late 2015.

By the end of January last year, The Burning and Monkey Finger had performed at the first show which was attended by nearly 500 people.

Genres vary from acoustic performance and classic blues rock, to instrumentals and the finale of hard and heavy rock.

The hot line-up includes Anubis, Kings of Improg (KOI), Lauren Wanda, Monkey Finger, The Burning, The Color Blew and Winston Slide.

Ticket cost R50, but children under the age of 12 enter free of charge.

The event is managed by bands for the bands so proceeds will go to the artists.
