Bakkie loses its boat on O’Reilly Merry Street
Two women sustained minor to moderate injuries when a boat fell off a trailer on O’Reilly Merry Street this morning (March 18).
The incident happened near the intersection of President Kruger Street, at around 11am.
Liam Hardy, ER24 spokesperson, said a bakkie was towing the boat on a trailer when the towage allegedly broke.
He said the boat then crashed into a bakkie that was headed in the same direction, which had two female occupants.
One lane was closed to traffic.
