Run for animal welfare
Benoni Northerns Athletic Club (BNAC) will be hosting their first BNAC Tag ‘Spay Day’ Fund-raising Run on Human Rights Day, Tuesday, March 21.
The event, which will start at 7am, is a new addition to the club’s calendar and the aim is to raise money for Benoni-based animal welfare organisation TAG, whose main focus is to assist underprivileged communities with their pets by administering basic treatments as well as facilitating a sterilisation programme.
Participants can choose between a 5km family fun run or a 15km run.
Children and bicycles are welcome on the 5km fun run.
The runs will take place from Benoni Northerns Sports Club in Brodigan Street.
