Circle a hindrance

John Barnard writes:

I agree with the comments made by a reader in last week’s BCT that many motorists do not know how to use the traffic circle on 14th Avenue, Northmead.

I have witnessed some close calls at this circle.

The authorities must erect signage informing motorist to give way to vehicles approaching from the right-hand side.

A level of care must be taken when passing through this traffic circle, as a large portion of the road has been used which does not leave much room for motorists to pass through.

I consider this traffic circle to be more of an hindrance than an aid, adding to the motorists’ and shoppers’ frustration levels.
