Thousands of learners play sport
Benoni Northerns’ sports grounds and the John Barrable Hall were a hive of activity on Friday, February 10 when the Gauteng Department of Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation in partnership with the Gauteng Department of Education hosted the Annual School Sport Farm and Rural Games.
The multi-code event saw about 1 500 primary schools and secondary school learners participating in football, netball, volleyball, chess and skipping.
