Protea is back with Mulan
Protea Stage Productions will hold auditions for its first production of 2017, entitled “The Musical Adventures of Mulan”.
Auditions for those who are ready for their “reflection to show who they are inside” will take place on January 28 and 29, at 1pm at the Fourth Benoni Scout Hall, in Morehill.
The show, which will be staged in June, follows the classic Disney story of a girl who disguises herself as a boy to fight in her father’s place in the Chinese army.
With Mulan being joined by friends – and foes – along the way, the show is bound to keep the audience enticed and wanting more.
Those who wish to audition for a main role are asked to prepare a song that best suits their vocal range.
A CD player and piano will be available.
