Farrarmere learners pack parcels

Farrarmere Primary School, in collaboration with Stop Hunger Now Southern Africa, packed about 15 000 food parcels, recently.

About 100 learners joined members of the organisation to pack the food parcels on October 28.

The parcels were delivered to various organisations and communities in Johannesburg.

“It took us about two hours to pack the parcels,” said Lindsey Lacy, of Farrarmere Primary.

Stop Hunger Now Southern Africa was started in September 2009, in South Africa.

The programme operates in Johannesburg and Cape Town, with Graça Machel as its chief patron.
