Firstly, to the paramedics who battled and successfully managed to stabilise me before taking me to the Netcare Linmed Hospital and, secondly, to the SAPS, ADT and the detectives for their prompt response to the invasion of our home and for their thorough investigations.
Were it not for them, I would not be alive today.
Thank you to ADT for later checking in to find out how we were.
In addition, a special thank you to family, friends, Joint Effort in Edenvale and everyone who has called and visited (including people whom we did not know), the doctors and staff at the Linmed and to the reporter from the City Times.
