Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality (EMM) spokesperson Themba Gadebe said the EMM has 11 roads and storm water depots throughout the municipality.
“Over and above the depot teams, EMM has appointed outside contractors to assist in addressing road markings, in particular on main roads throughout the metro,” he explained.
“These contractors started in July 2016 and are impacting on the progress of the department in this regard.”
