A metro employee from Benoni made contact with Kids Haven and seemed very helpful, although she had not yet visited the site.

The very next day after the article appeared, Deidre Nell of Multi-Waste (Pty) Ltd in Jet Park, contacted Kids Haven and offered to clean up the site for us at no charge so that we could feel better about the space and be able to use it in the late afternoons.

Multi-Waste arrived and cleaned the whole area.

They had to pick up litter and bottles and cleared human waste and all kinds of horrible stuff, but they did it all.

They left the area completely clean.

Kids Haven would like to thank Deidre and her team for their generosity in responding to our story about the site and helping us to clean the site and make it hygienic for our children to use.

Multi-Waste did an impressive job and we are extremely grateful for their prompt action, giving us their very best work.

Thank you.

We appreciate your kindness.
