Pipe bands ready to play at Benoni High

The annual SA Pipe Band and Highland Dancing Championships will be held at Benoni High School on July 30.

Over 20 bands and hordes of dancers will descend on the school, which is always a big event on the Benoni calendar.

A flea market and various stalls will be open on the day, giving visitors plenty of culinary options to go with the dance and skirl of the bagpipes.

Throw your support behind Benoni High Novice Juvenile and Benoni MacTalla.

People can start arriving at 8.30am.

There will be an entry fee.
