Provincial teams in the A-Section included Eastern Gauteng, Southern Gauteng, Northern Gauteng, Free State, KwaZulu-Natal, Namibia and the Northern Cape.
Teams that participated in the B-Section included EGBA, Northern Gauteng, Free State, KwaZulu-Natal, Border and Western Province.
The overall A-Section was won by the hosts, Eastern Gauteng, while the players from Border claimed the B-Section honours.
The City Times was impressed by some of the local EGBA talent on display namely u-13 players Robert White and Amy Ackerman.
White won the boys’ u-13 singles final while Ackerman claimed victory in the girls’ u-13 singles final.
The proficient duo teamed up in the u-13 mixed final and won that, too.
Both received number one national grading as well.
• The John Barrable Hall will again be the host of a BSA tournament when the South African u-19 Open and Inter Provincial Championships come to the facility from Saturday, July 9 to Saturday, July 16.
