Contribute to an early Christmas
You are still being asked to contribute to the success of this year’s Christmas in July.
The event, organised by Care and Share, is aimed at making a positive contribution towards the lives of those less fortunate.
The event will include an afternoon of dance and song for senior citizens from various old age homes.
The elderly will also be served tea with delicious treats.
Care and Share events co-ordinator, Audrey Todd urges the public to assist in the form of donations of small gifts for the elderly, both male and female.
Other donations that will be welcomed are biscuits, cakes, sweets, chips, rooibos tea, coffee, milk and sugar, as well as ingredients for sandwiches such as eggs, cheese, chicken, mayonnaise and margarine.
This will all take place on July 16 at the Old Benonians Sports Club.
