Each band and DJ brought their unique vibe to the crowd stirring an atmosphere of dancing and “sing-alongs”.

All the DJs and bands performed out of their socks and the crowd surrounded the perimeters of the stage to cheer them on.

The crowd were also the first to listen to Voltrex together with the MC, Bongi perform their newest single live which was released on the same day.

Timo ODV gave listeners a taste of a new track he is working on and it Gangs of Ballet’s first performance in the East Rand.

Not only were the artists’ performances remarkable, Bongi was nothing short of entertaining from the time he got to the event.

Before the first performance, he took time to mingle with the people who could not enter the VIP and backstage areas, to make them feel special.

Various artists and DJs interacted by taking pictures and signing autographs with those who bought backstage passes.

The day catered for both young and old, from jumping castles to a beer garden allowing everyone to have a good time.

As the day progressed, it became cold, but this did not stop fans from dancing and singing to their hearts’ content.

Families were able to place their blankets on the grass and still have a perfect view of the artists who were performing on stage.

“Overall, it was a good day,” Smith said.
