VIDEO: Four men wanted after armed robbery at Duck Inn
A business owner and eight customers were held at gunpoint during an armed robbery at the Duck Inn Pub, on Pretoria Road, on January 4.
The incident occurred at around 6pm.
According to Benoni SAPS cluster spokesperson Sgt Constance Moalusi two men held the victims at gunpoint, when a third suspect went behind the counter.
“The man opened the till drawer and took an amount of R5 000,” said Moalusi.
“The men also took cellphones, jewellery and wallets from the customers.”
Moalusi said a fourth suspect waited outside and drove off with the other three men in a blue BMW X5.
No one was injured.
A case of business robbery was opened at Crystal Park Police Station.
