Lions treat staff
Staff at the Netcare Linmed Hospital were treated on December 25 when members of the Benoni Lakes Lions Club handed out their renowned Lions Christmas cakes.
The club thanked those on duty for their work.
“We felt that it was important to recognise and thank the staff who worked and were unable to celebrate Christmas with their family and friends,” said Benoni Lakes Lions Club president Nick Maré.
Lions who attended the handouts were Jef Posthumus, Carol Rosser, Frances Maree, Tony Christian, Adrienne Michas, Nick and Beaulieu Maré as well as district governor of Lions district 410B, Roy Michas.
