Boy (12) dies after being shot
A 12-year-old boy died after he was shot outside his home on Henry Crescent in Daveyton.
The incident took place last night (December 29) at 20:30pm.
The victim was shot twice in the upper body while washing his fathers’ car.
His father found his son lying on the floor and rushed him to Life the Glynnwood Hospital where he later died.
According to Const Zunickha Essakjee, Benoni SAPS communications officer, two males are suspected of committing the crime.
The motive is unknown.
No arrests have been made.
Police have opened a murder docket.
