Man drives car through wall

A man sustained minor injuries when the vehicle he was driving crashed through a property's boundary wall, on Tuesday evening, November 3.

The accident happened on the corner of Mimosa and Hanekam streets, Northmead.

“On arrival, paramedics found members of the local CPF on scene and a vehicle which had crashed through a boundary wall, eventually stopping at a crèche wall,” said ER24 spokesperson Chitra Bodasing.

“The driver was still in the vehicle.

“CPF members and paramedics got the man out of the vehicle, which was smoking from the bonnet at the time.”

The 33-year-old victim sustained minor injuries.

He was treated and transported to the Tambo Memorial Hospital.

The exact cause of the incident is unknown.

Authorities were on scene to investigate further.
