Couple stabbed at home, man dies
A man died in hospital this morning after he and his partner were stabbed multiple times, in their home in Kingsway, last night (October 28).
Benoni SAPS spokesperson Lieut Nomsa Sekele said the woman (40) and her 37-year-old partner were home with their young daughter, when four men stormed into the house.
“According to the child, four men entered the house and started stabbing the mother and father,” said Sekele.
The child, whose age is unknown at this stage, witnessed the attack.
She was not harmed.
Police arrived on scene while paramedics were treating the victims.
The pair were transported to the Far East Rand Hospital, where the male victim died this morning.
Nothing was stolen from the house.
The mother of the child was discharged from hospital this morning.
Police have opened a murder and assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm case.
No arrests have been made.
