Join your local newspaper for the SANBS East Rand blood challenge
The South African National Blood Service (SANBS) is calling on all blood donors on the East Rand to take part in the biggest blood donation event this year.
The challenge will run until November 15.
Follow your local newspapers for weekly updates, to see which SANBS donor centre has been visited by the most lifesaving donors.
The challenge will include five communities (Boksburg, Benoni, Kempton Park, Springs and Brakpan), five blood donor centres and five local Caxton newspapers.
Each week there will be an update in your local newspaper.

You don’t just donate blood, you give future memories and experiences to people who are alive today because of your selflessness.
