Local company nominated for prestigious business award
Local estate agency Kingston’s Real Estate was nominated for the 702 Small Business Awards, recently.
Following the nomination by a customer, the company was interviewed by the panel of judges and made it through to the finals.
The Benoni-bred owners, Michael Drennan and David Helena, attended the finals on September 3.
The company is situated at the Farrarmere Shopping Centre, on Sheridan Road, Farrarmere, and was founded in November 2013.
Drennan said the nomination was made by a satisfied customer who had relocated to the East Rand from Cape Town and went through Kingston’s to buy property.
Helena, a Westdene resident, said they were very happy just to be nominated.
“Although we didn’t win, it was a privilege to be there and we’re proud of the Kingston’s team for working so hard to get us here,” he said.
