Celebrating 20 years of investment solutions

It was all glitz and glam at the 20th anniversary celebration of New Seasons Investment Holdings, on September 11, at Four Degrees East, Zesfontein.

The Pretoria Road-based company was founded in 1995 by the late Dr Enos Mabuza, who was later joined by Peter Vundla, Advocate Kgomotso Moroka, Jabu Mabuza and Ashley Mabogoane.

The company is backed by the Rand Merchant Bank (RMB) Group, as the financial partner.

Executive chairman of New Seasons Investment Holdings, Ashley Mabogoane, said New Seasons is a black-owned company founded in the formative years of black economic empowerment.

“The business was founded on the principle of good corporate governance and social upliftment of the historically disadvantaged black South Africans,” added Mabogoane.

“New Seasons is, today, a focused investment company with a net value in excess of R300-m, which is invested only in exceptional businesses with talented management and huge potential growth,” he said.

Mabogoane added that they are proud of their investment track record.

“The company is black-controlled, the board subscribes to an unwavering commitment to transformation and uplifting communities in our surroundings,” he said.

“Over the years the company has played a significant role in social responsibility by contributing to non-profit organisations in the Ekurhuleni region.”

Guests were entertained with music from the Music Academy of Gauteng, which is one of the beneficiaries of the company.
