Brainstorm holds a fund-raiser

Brainstorm is calling all women to spend an afternoon with friends and family on Saturday, September 19.

Brainstorm is a non-profit organisation (NGO) support group that provides services and support to people from Ekurhuleni who have suffered brain injuries, strokes and neurological injuries.

The annual fund-raiser will include women booking a table of which they will take charge for the day.

The host of each table must provide their own decorations, crockery, savoury an d sweet eats and drinks.

With an expectation of 100 to 150 people, the aim is to have an afternoon of fun and sharing for a good cause.

Dr Jenny Irvine will be a guest speaker on the day.

The event will take place at God’s First Church, on the corner of Celia Nestadt Road and Stokroos Street, from 2pm until 4.30pm.

An entrance fee will be charged.

Brainstorm is in need of sponsors for prizes and hopes to have a number of spot prizes available on the day.

Each woman will receive a gift made by Brainstorm members.

For more information, or to donate prizes, contact Nicky Scott on 081 385 8949, or Sheldene Reynolds on 082 877 2543.
