Hats off to WO Malesa

Lindi Kotze writes by email:

I have just read on Facebook about WO Malesa and his help with the flyers for the missing boy (now found deceased, unfortunately).

A year back I had to ask for the help of your officers in delivering a warrant to my ex-husband.

The officer had to come late the evening to my residence (a gated community) and wait until my ex arrived to pick our daughter up for his monthly visit, as he resides in Orkney.

I wanted to give all the praise to WO Malesa, as he went above and beyond his line of duty to assist this divorced mother of one on that day.

When I read his name on Facebook, it triggered me and I never had the chance to say thank you officer Malesa.

The SAPS must be extremely proud to have such an individual as yourself in their services.

Col van Nieuwenhuizen, please give that man a huge pat on his back, and spread the news that officer Malesa is one who can be looked up to by not only our community in Benoni, but the rest of his fellow employees there.

To the family in Benoni who now have to go through the pain of putting their child to rest, I can only keep them in my heart and prayers.

I sincerely hope you catch the scum that was responsible for an innocent child’s

death.

Again, thank you for the outstanding work officer Malesa.

Please pass your wisdom to the fellow members of the SAPS there.

That is the type of service all policemen and women should give to the community.

I will sing your praises to others when speaking about Benoni’s SAPS.
