Easter Festival a real treat

After the success of the inaugural St Dunstan’s College Easter Rugby Festival, last year, the school embarked on their most ambitious project yet -- the 2015 Easter Sports Festival that included netball and hockey.

On Thursday, April 2, Saturday, April 4 and Monday, April 6, 620 athletes were welcomed to the school to do battle in their respective sports.

Rugby, netball and hockey matches were played simultaneously on the three days.

The school’s newly constructed water-based AstroTurf was completed just in time for the festival and the St Dunstan’s girls’ hockey team used it to give the school the perfect start, with a 2-0 win over Hellenic Academy (Zimbabwe).

Overall, a fruitful festival was held and St Dunstan’s College is aiming to continue raising the bar and to take it to new heights in the years to come.
