Keep Rynfield clean

Petra, a concerned resident, writes:

Dear owner/tenant/managing agent, I am a resident from the Rynfield area.

What I see is not very encouraging and/or pleasant.

I note how our area is going backward instead of going forward due to the shocking state of the pavements and overgrown kerbs of the roads.

A thought crossed my mind and I wonder if you would please consider cleaning up by cutting the lawn and cleaning up the pavement, as well as the verge of the road (grass growing in the gutter so the water cannot flow easily to the drains when it rains) outside and in front of your home/complex and possibly we could feel and be proud of where we live and/or do business.

It is so sad to see how “grotty” our area has become and we all know “the powers that be” are certainly not going to clean up the pavement, so we need to do it ourselves as the alternate is not an option due to the fact that our property and area is on its way to just becoming a dump.

I trust you would seriously consider my suggestion by helping to clean up.

I hope that you will not take offence to my suggestion and make a difference, we can, if we all do our bit and stand together by keeping our area clean and beautiful.

Not for anyone else other than ourselves.

I must thank those people who already do their bit by cleaning their pavements and by cutting the lawn outside their properties.

One can actually see what a difference it already makes.

Thank you.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read my note, I sincerely appreciate it and I still have faith that most people will try their utmost to “do their bit”.
