Rubik’s Cubes solved in seconds at Northmead Square
Patrons of Northmead Square were left stunned by the speed at which competitors in the Pops Toys Summer Rubik's Competition managed to solve their puzzles.

The event was held at the Northmead Square, on Saturday, February 21.
The competitors ( the competition was open to all ages), could participate in five Rubik’s Cube categories.
The competitors’ times were registered in the world rankings in the World Cube Association data base.

Winners: 1 Jabari Nuruddin 4.80sec, 2 Logan Woolfson 5.09sec, 3 Pieterjan Joubert 6.80sec.
- 3X3,
Winners: 1 Jabari Nuruddin 10.90sec, 2 Logan Woolfson 16.10sec, 3 Pieterjan Joubert 16.27sec.
- 4X4
Winners: 1 Jabari Nuruddin 54.01sec, 2 Pieterjan Joubert 1.02.99sec, 3 Logan Woolfson 1.07.35sec.
- Pyraminx
Winners:1 Jabari Nuruddin 8.77sec, 2 Pieterjan Joubert 9.73sec, 3 Kimon Candiotes 11.60sec.
- Skewb
Winners: 1 Jabari Nuruddin 5.32sec, 2 Brendan James Gray 7.01sec, 3 Christo du Venage 8.98sec.
All winners received prizes from Pops Toys and the Northmead Square to the value of R3 000.
