‘London goes SA’ concert comes to the stage

Buoyed by the resounding success, the organisers — South Africans Eric Streso and Hennie Stroebel — have teamed up with Carnival City to bring the show to South Africa.

The music spectacular will take place on February 27 and 28, in Carnival City’s Big Top Arena.

Amongst the stellar line-up of artists featuring in the London Goes SA show are Bok van Blerk, Jay, Elvis Blue, Blackbyrd, Theuns Jordaan and Clare Johnston, of the legendary Mango Groove.

The master of ceremonies for the performance will be the hilarious and entertaining Peter Mitchell.

He is nicknamed ”The Scotsman” (Pietman die Skot) due to his excellent and entertaining renditions of Scottish classics such as Flower of Scotland.

Michelle Smith, the newly-appointed marketing manager at Carnival City, said some of South Africa’s top-selling artists are collaborating for this rare music event and it promises to be one of the highlights of the summer 2015 entertainment calendar

“We are delighted to play host to the first-ever London Goes SA Tour in South Africa,” she added.
