The first incident took place at around 6pm, near the Actonville Hostel, in Lincoln Street.
“Police and paramedics were called to the scene where a 20-year-old man had been shot several times in the upper body,” said Benoni SAPS cluster spokesman Capt Mack Mngomezulu.
The man was rushed to hospital, where he later died.The second victim was found shot at around 8pm, in the same street.
The 28-year-old man was also shot several times in the upper body.
The murders took place not far from each other and the suspects in both incidents are unknown.
Mngomezulu said the motives for the killings are also unknown.
Actonville and Benoni police are looking for anyone who can assist in tracking down the perpetrators.
