Venting their anger on the Benoni City Times’ Facebook page, some begged for the address of the alleged culprits, so they could pay them a visit.

The City Times reported on the local couple, charged for allegedly inflicting severe injuries, which could lead to mental retardation, on their child.

The seven-week-old infant sustained extensive injuries, which the general practitioner and expert doctor at Teddy Bear Clinic, Efrat Barnes, described as “non-accidental injuries”.

“The injuries show that quite a significant amount of force was used, and it is clear the aim was to harm the child,” said Barnes.
