50 years of marriage and still growing strong

Farrarmere residents Senio (72) and Charmaine (68) Lipparoni, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

The couple met in Italy before emigrating to Rhodesia.

They later got engaged in Salisbury, and married in 1964; Charmaine was 18 years and Senio was 23 years old.

Over the years they have been blessed with a son and three daughters, Nicky Andersen, Michelle Lipparoni, Natasha Millard and Ramon Lipparoni.

The couple also have five grandchildren: Olivia, Adrian, Guiliana, Jessica and Luca.

They are strongly focused on good family values, and have passed on those values to their family

Nicky Andersen, the couple’s daughter, said her parents taught them the importance of love.

“They taught us all the true meaning of love and the importance of strong family ties,” said Nicky.

To celebrate their anniversary, the couple are currently travelling to America and Italy.
