Time to get excited for HobbiTech again

The Rotary Club of Benoni Van Ryn will be holding their 10th annual hobbies exhibition on April 5 and 6, at the John Barrable Hall, in Rynfield.

This event is, as always, a fund-raiser, in support of charitable work and donations managed by Rotary.

In addition to all the popular hobby, sport and society exhibits of past years, the association is continuing with an even stronger element of technology, to keep pace with our evolving world.

The organisers are looking for representations involving computers, software, electronic games, communication, latest television advances and digital photography.

All of these exhibitors will be set up in ways to show the rank beginner or expert user how to improve their understanding and application.

Secure facilities and parking will be available for exhibitors, as well as the public.

The usual tasty braai and bacon butties will be offered, as well as other fare from the fully equipped kitchen.

The organisers guarantee most tastes will be catered to.

Tea, coffee and cakes will also be available.

Demonstrations and live activities are encouraged and will be interesting for all ages.

Also encouraged is for technology exhibitors to give real help and advice to visitors.

The Rotary Club of Benoni Van Ryn organising committee will make every endeavour to meet all interests and hobbies and ensure that each exhibitor gets equal exposure.

Exhibitors are encouraged to apply via The Rotary Club of Benoni Van Ryn website, at rotaryvanryn.org.za.
