Buy a Lions Christmas cake
Lions clubs are urging people to purchase their one-of-a-kind Christmas cakes.
The clubs have started selling the cakes and people are urged to purchase them as Christmas gifts and to help the less fortunate.
The cakes cost R70 each – the same price as last year – with the proceeds going to various Lions projects.
The cakes are rectangular in shape, un-iced and weigh approximately 1kg.
“They are baked on behalf of Lions clubs by Albany bakeries, so they are of the highest quality and, because they are baked according the Lions recipe, you won’t find the same cake anywhere else,” said Lions member Beaulieu Maré.
