Water cuts for Benoni postponed to Wednesday October 30
The water cuts which were planned for parts of Benoni on October 23, have been postponed to October 30.
The following areas will be without water from 8am to 10pm, on Wednesday: Wattville, Tamboville, Actonville, Westdene, Lakefield, Benoni Industrial, Benoni South, Apex, Mackenzie Park and Western Extension.
People affected by the forced water interruption can collect water at the following designated water points:
Western Extension: corner Sunnyside and Lakefield avenues; corner Bunyan Street and Prince’s Avenue; corner Harrison and Cranebourne avenues; corner The Drive and Walsh Avenue; Benoni West School, Railway Avenue; Beryl Avenue, Glynnwood Hospital.
Actonville, Industrial areas and Benoni South:
Mabuya Street, Wattville; Actonville Library; Actonville Cycle, near BP Garage.
Wattville Proper:
Corner Dube and Nkosi streets; corner Dube and Xaba streets; corner Dube and Thami streets.
Tamboville Proper:
O R Tambo Cemetery, Mamkele Street; Sebotsane and Abie Nyalunga streets; Jangu Street; Lasabe School.
