Take a swing to help the Benoni SPCA
The Benoni SPCA is hosting a golf day at the Benoni Country Club, on October 23, to help to raise funds to renovate the drainage, kennels and buildings at the SPCA.
It is a huge task for them and they ask the public to assist them by getting together a four-ball, having a wonderful game of golf and dinner,and to participate in the sports memorabilia auction on the 19th hole.
Awards will go to achievements in the putting challenge, longest drive, closest to the pin and chip ‘n challenge, amongst other sections.
Golf attire is required: collared shirts, slacks, and only soft spikes are allowed on the course.
They are also appealing for sponsors for holes or prize donations.
Registration will be at 9am and tee-off will commence at 11.30am.
