Benoni toddler struts her way to the top
Two-year-old Rynfield citizen, Brittany Ariane Morrison, has been chosen as a finalist in her age category; naught to three years old, of the Toddler and Tween of the World pageant.
It is a pageant for little girls that is set to empower them to grow and develop a positive self-image.
It will be Brittany’s first-ever pageant, but her parents, Gail and Rudi, said that they are already very proud of her.
There are 10 finalists chosen in each of the six age categories.
All the contestants are required to get sponsorships for the non-profit organisation, Project Feed the Children, as part of the competition.
Brittany already managed to get a total of R2 000 in cash, as well as a lovely, fun day sponsorship for the top three winners in her age category.
The prestigious gala event is taking place on November 30, in Krugersdorp, where all finalists will be judged on their ramp modeling skill in the morning and modelling in a show for their guests in the evening.
Trophies will be awarded to winners in the following categories: One- to seven-year olds (toddler) and eight- to 13-year-olds (tween), best evening wear, most photogenic, miss amity, miss popularity, people’s choice award, top model, best interview and miss debutante.
Other prizes includes crystal crowns, R5 000 per category winner, a Mozambique holiday for seven nights for category winners, R1 000 for the first runner up, a Disney World holiday for the grand winner, toys, electronic devices and other hampers.
