New Mr and Miss Benoni High crowned
Learners wowed the crowd with their sparkling personalities and dashing good looks.
Dressed to the nines, 19 learners from Benoni High School (BHS) recently participated in the school’s annual pageant.
The glamorous event saw entrants strutting their stuff to win the hearts of the judges as they vied for the crown.
Matthew Claasen (Grade 10) took the title of Mr Benoni High, while Tayla Adendorff (Grade 11) was crowned as Miss BHS.
In the category of Mr and Miss Personality, Sihle Radebe (Grade 11) and Landiwe Nkosi (Garde 12) were the firm favourites of the evening.
Haley Wilkes (Grade 11) was named Debutant of the Year, with Jayde-Lee van Staden (Grade Nine) and Matthew Claasen clenching the title of Mr and Miss Photogenic.
Itumeleng Kotsi (Grade 12) was voted the Social Media Sensation of the Year by his peers and the judging panel.
