Parker takes second spot at Thunder Valley

Going into round five next month, Parker is in second spot on the overall standings.

Rynfield motocross star Parker Cik finished round four of the South African National Motocross Championships at the Thunder Valley MX Park in Pietermaritzburg on May 6 in second place, behind overall leader Riley Geldenhuys.

Competing in the MX 50cc class, Parker led heat one from the start, with Geldenhuys, who finished the heat in the second spot, hot on his heels.

In heat two, the Benonian again made another perfect start but crashed in lap four, allowing Geldenhuys to pass him to take the win and keep the red plate going into round five at Tezza in Richards Bay on June 24.

On the overall standings, Parker is second behind Geldenhuys.
