Donation puts bums on seats

The foundation donated 1 000 school chairs to Mabuya Secondary School.

The excitement was evident on the faces of learners and teachers when a truck loaded with school chairs made its way to Mabuya Secondary School in Daveyton.

Mike and Sandi Teke, from the Masimong Foundation, donated the 1 000 chairs.

According to the foundation’s Kamogelo Kgasoane, the donation came about after the school requested help because it did not have enough chairs.

“The Masimong Foundation was happy to step in and improve the dire situation at the school and assist the teachers and learners in creating a conducive learning environment. We believe education is a need for every child, and without it, there’s no future,” said Kgasoane.
