Dlala Dlala hosts successful Heritage Day tournament
"Dlala Dlala would not be what it is without our soccer teams and our netball teams."
Sea Robbers FC and Hartties Netball Club won the Dlala Dlala soccer and netball tournaments held in Crystal Park on September 24.
The Sea Robbers won the finals on a penalty shoot-out while Hartties defeated Chikitaz 17-15.
Founder of the tournament, Tsholofelo Hope Rakau, expressed his gratitude to all the teams that participated in the tournament.
“These teams will be recorded in our records of winners. Congratulations and well done.
“Dlala Dlala would not be what it is without our soccer teams and our netball teams. Yesterday we hosted 16 netball teams and over 13 soccer teams.
“These teams took to the courts in a spirit of excellence. With every tournament we host, we gradually climb the steps towards the view of our vision, with each step better than the last. We understand the space we’re in and acknowledge that growth is paramount,” he said.
