Benoni Flying Squad successes
Flyinq Squad members again took drugs and alleged dealers off our streets.
Between July 15 and 17, Benoni Flying Squad members arrested seven suspects and recovered drugs.
Drugs
Six suspects were arrested for possession of and dealing in drugs in Kaalfontein Ext One, Ivory Park, Zenzele, Putfontein, Gabon informal settlement, Daveyton and Moedi Section, Thembisa.
Mandrax, rocks (cocaine), crystal methamphetamine and Cat (cocaine) were confiscated in these separate incidents.
The suspects will appear in the respective magistrate’s courts on charges of possession of and dealing in drugs.
Illegal immigrant A 31-year-old illegal immigrant was arrested in Orlando, Soweto, by members working special duty operations.
Investigation continues in all cases.
