Benoni Art held its first successful exhibition for the year on February 27 at CR Swart Park, Rynfield.
The art exhibition brought art lovers into one space as they displayed their artistic work for the public to see and buy.
According to Marcia Goodchild, their first event for the year went well as they had plenty of visitors. Goodchild said the sales were good, although only 12 artists exhibited.
Benoni Art consists of artists who create and display their works at CR Swart Park on every last Sunday of the month, from 09:00 to 15:00.
The group was established in 2014, with 24 artists exhibiting monthly at five studios. In 2019, they changed to exhibiting at CR Swart Park, Rynfield, and recently changed their name from Benoni Art Route to Benoni Art.
