Five children transported to hospital following accident
Medics assessed the children and found that all five had sustained minor to moderate injuries.
Five injured children were transported to Sunshine Private Hospital this morning, March 3 after two light motor vehicles collided along Springs Road in Crystal Park.
According to ER24 communications officer Russel Meiring when paramedics arrived at the scene at 08:00 they found two light motor vehicles on the side of the road.
“Five children were seen seated in another vehicle. Medics assessed the children and found that all five had sustained minor to moderate injuries.
“Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were found. The children were treated and transported to Sunshine Private hospital for further care,” said Meiring.
Local authorities were also on the scene for investigations.
