Today (January 12) was an exceptional day, according to Caren Kay, deputy principal of the junior preparatory school at St Dunstan’s College, as they welcomed their intake of 69 Grade One learners.

“Good does not even begin to describe our first day of ‘big school’. It was an exceptional day indeed.

“We wish all our precious Grade One children and their families a very happy, healthy and purposeful year. May each day be even better than the previous one.

“The St Dunstan’s family would like to extend this wish to all children in our community who started ‘big school’ today,” she said.
